Two youths were arrested with controlled drugs from Madhuban Municipality-3 in Bardiya district.
The arrested have been identified as Milan Pariyar (24) and Arjun Bhul (22) of Bhimapur in Rajapur Municipality-8. They had 19 nitrazepam tablets in their possession.
They were heading towards Rajapur from Gulariya on a motorcycle with registration number SE 4 PA 3911. Kothiyaghat-based Police Office personnel nabbed them with the substance during a routine vehicle check on Saturday evening.
Likewise, police held two youths in possession of 500 milligrams of brown sugar from Bhajani Municipality-8 in Kailali district.
The arrested have been identified as Dinesh Sunar (26) of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-8 and Rajendra Regmi (20) of Shankarpur in Tikapur Municipality-1.
Security personnel deployed from the Bhajani-based Area Police Office nabbed them with the substances during a routine vehicle check on Sunday morning. They were riding on a motorcycle with registration number SE 2 PA 850.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the cases is being carried out, informed the police.
