The deceased has been identified as Binod Bohara, said Information Officer at the District Police Office of Kailali Kamal Prasad Chaudhary. The injured have been identified as Bhuji Devi Deurukhi, 101, of Jaya Prithvi Municipality-11, Anju Bohara, 19, of Surma Village Municipality-2 and Sinki Bohara, 40, of the same place. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Deulekh Primary Health Center. According to the police, there were three women and six men in the jeep.
A team including Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyan Bahadur Bista from the District Police Office went to the spot and did not disclose the cause of the incident due to network problems, said Information Officer Chaudhary.
