A meeting organised in Lalitpur about the need, importance and quality use of e-learning box (Luma device) educational material has been completed.
In that meeting, the former Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Prithibi Subba Gurung, expressed his views on the importance of Luma educational materials, which are being highly preferred by students. Gurung said - 'This Luma is becoming so popular because teachers and students can read happily from the same material.'
In the meeting, Nandalal Bhandari, program coordinator of Luma, expressed the opinion that this device will be further modified and manufactured in the future. Bhandari said - 'We will make it more interesting, multi-purpose and student-friendly in time.'
In the meeting, educational activist Ramesh Ghale, Luma program manager Kavin Manandhar, Bikram Neupane and others expressed their opinion about Luma.
The educational materials produced by Village Solutions Private Limited are now very useful in Gorkha, Lamjung, Kaski, Parbat, Baglung, Tanhun, Kavrepalanchok, Navalpur, Dhading, Rupandehi and Lalitpur districts. So far, students and teachers are using this material in 56 schools of different districts. From class 1 to class 12, the luma device has been prepared by including the text material of the subjects approved and available by the Curriculum Development Center.
