A young man has attempted self-immolation in Jumla, demanding that Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, should be made home minister again.
40-year-old Gokarna Karki, working as a driver at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, tried to set his body on fire.
Karki, who attempted self-immolation in front of the gate of the medical college, was rescued by the police.
