Niharika Rajput and Shivaraj Shrestha have settled in the court.
According to the agreement, Shrestha will now accept Niharika as his wife. Niharika, who filed a partial case in the district court, said that they had decided to live as husband and wife.
Niharika filed a case in District Court Dhanusha alleging that Shivaraj Shrestha of Janakpur threatened her life and forced her to perform sexual intercourse repeatedly. According to the order of the High Court, the DNA of Shivaraj and Niharika's son was found to be the same.
Niharika even attempted self-immolation in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan Shital Niwas.
