Two people who were killed in a road accident that took place near Musikot on the Lamahi-Ghorahi road section on Friday have been identified. The deceased are Atiram Chaudhary,29, of Paite in Lamahi municipality-9 and Yadav Khanal of Sainamaina in Butwal, District Police Office, Dang Superintendent of Police Ganesh Chand said.
Altogether 29 passengers were injured when the passenger bus (Lu. 1 Kha. 9863) heading towards Bhaluwang from Tulasipur of Dang met with the accident. Two of them were seriously injured and were sent to Kohalpur teaching hospital from Lamahi hospital, where others are undergoing treatment.
The accident reportedly took place after the bus experienced a brake failure.
