The Election Commission has ensured mass insurance of 20 million for the election that is going to take place on May 13.
Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel informed that an agreement has been reached with the Rastriya Bima Sansthan to insure the insurance of Rs 2 million per person of the manpower to be deployed in the election.
The commission on Thursday called for printing election materials including voter lists and voter identity cards required for the local level election.
