19,008 voters have been added in Kanchanpur. As soon as the date of the local level election is announced, the District Election Office is completing the work of correcting the voter list, sending the details of those who have lost their registration cards and those who have died to the Election Commission.

So far, there are 297,341 voters above the age of 18 in the district which has nine municipalities, said Sangeeta Bista, computer operator of the election office. "We have been tasked to collect the details of the deceased and send them to the commission after the period of protest against the nominee claims expires." He said, "We are working on the missing card and it needs to be corrected."

According to the office, there are 278,333 voters in the district till February 10, 2021 AD. "We have collected and sent the names of 311,378 people," said Bista. He said, "The details of 297,341 voters have been received from the commission." The commission will provide the final voter list of the district by mid-April. The office had compiled the voter list in two phases. According to the office, Bhimdatta municipality has the highest number of 67,178 voters so far.

Similarly, there are 32 thousand 953 voters in Bedkot Municipality, 31 thousand 546 in Shuklaphanta, 40 thousand 573 in Krishnapur, 27 thousand 74 in Dodhara Chandni Municipality, 34 thousand 886 in Belauri Municipality, 34 thousand 181 in Purnabas, 14 thousand 171 in Laljhadi Municipality and 14 thousand 779 in Beldandi Municipality. The office has stated. The number of voters is likely to decrease after the details of the deceased are sent to the commission. "We'll have to wait a while for the final list," Bista said.
