The cable car work under construction in Bandipur, a tourist town of Tanahun, has reached its final stage. The work of the cable car has been prepared to be put into commercial operation from next May.
Chairman of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited Ramchandra Sharma informed that 80 percent of the project has been completed so far. "After completing the engine connection work, we will start the work of cables, after that the box will be installed", Sharma said, "After testing till February, we have set a target of commercial operation from May."
Sharma says that although the construction of the cable car project, which started in July, has been delayed due to various reasons, the work will not stop now. "For two years, the work of the project was badly affected due to covid and lockdown", he said.
