A 19-year-old youth has been arrested for posting obscene pictures of unknown women on social media using a fake ID. He is Sumit Kumar Thapa of Surunga Municipality of Saptari. He defamed the victim woman by sending obscene messages on Messenger. According to the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police, he was arrested in Saptari and brought to Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Court has given him 7 days for further investigation.
