Gadda Chowki on the western border will be closed for the by-election of Champawat Assembly constituency 55 in Uttarakhand, India. According to Ashok Kumar Bhandari, Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, the border will be closed from 5 pm on May 29 to 5 pm on May 30.
He said that the borders of the areas connected with Gaddachauki and the Champawat district of India will be closed. During that period, it is said that permission will be obtained for health care and other essential services.
