KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has indicated that both westerly and local winds are currently influencing the weather in the country.
According to the Division, light rain with thunder and lightning is being reported in a few areas of the Madhesh, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces.
Today, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. The remainder of the country will also experience similar partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in various areas of the hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in some locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Furthermore, light snowfall may occur in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country.
Tonight, the weather is anticipated to be mostly clear in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two areas within the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
