There is partial influence of monsoon air in the eastern and central parts of the country.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather across the nation is partly cloudy. However, the weather is generally fair today.
The hilly areas would remain partly to generally cloudy today while remaining parts would see generally fair weather, said meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane.
Lamichhane shared that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall coupled with thunderstorms in a few places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and one or two places in hilly areas of the remaining provinces today.
The surface air temperature of Kathmandu at present is at 18 degree Celsius and its visibility is more than six kilometers, informed meteorologist Lamichhane.
The maximum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is predicted between 26-28 degree Celsius today, he mentioned.
Tonight, weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces while other parts of country would experience a fair weather.
Light rainfall accompanied by lightening is forecast at few places of Koshi Province and hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, added the Department.
