The District Administration Office (DAO), Solukhumbu distributes warm clothes and food to the poor families suffering from the challenging weather at Tingla village of Dudhkunda Municipality-11.
The DAO provided a fiber quilt and 30 kg rice each to 25 households at Tingla. The cost for this would be borne from the district disaster fund. Chief District Officer Ganesh Bikram Shahi informed that the assistance was provided as per the plan of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and the Home secretary.
Local Chhatra Bahadur Bhujel said the assistance was a huge relief to the people like him, who run families with daily wages.
Similarly, Hira Bishwokarma shared the happiness and how the relief materials saved his money.
