Views of NPC to be incorporated in Common Minimum Programme

Incorporating the views of the National Planning Commission (NPC), the taskforce of the ruling coalition met for the third time this morning to finalise the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of the government is to give it a final shape on Thursday. 

Member-Secretary of the Taskforce, Keshav Raj Joshi, told RSS that today's meeting concluded today in order to meet again on Thursday for the discussions.

The views of the NPC are going to be incorporated as the common programme would come as a policy and programme of the government. The meeting scheduled on Thursday would submit the report to the top leaders by giving the CMP a final shape.

The five-party alliance had formed the taskforce under the coordination of the Nepali Congress General-Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka comprising NC leaders duo: Minendra Rijal and Ramesh Lekhak, Barshaman Pun, and Dev Gurung of CPN (Maoist Centre) and Mahendra Raya Yadav and Rajendra Shrestha of the Janata Samahbadi Party. The taskforce was formed in order to help the government in its operation.

The taskforce is active to give the CMP a final shape. The next meeting of the taskforce has been called at Baluwatar at 9:00 am Thursday. It is said that the top leadership of the ruling coalition would chart out future strategy once the taskforce report is received and the cabinet would be given a full shape.

According to the alliance, the government would be run based on the CMP passed by the top leaders.
