Over one lakh Pfizer vaccines will arrive in Nepal tomorrow. It has been reported that the US government is donating 100,620 doses of Pfizer vaccines to Nepal.
Prior to this, the US had donated 1,503,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines to Nepal.
This delivery is the part of COVAX facility, the international vaccine sharing scheme backed by the United Nation.
Pfizer vaccine is manufactured by the United States in cooperation with German firm 'BioNTech'.
This vaccine will be the fourth one to be used by Nepal to inoculate the citizens.
Nepal has so far used Covishield, Vero Cell and, AstraZeneca vaccines till now.
