CPN-UML won the chief and deputy chief candidates in the Badimalika municipality of the district. UML mayoral candidate Amar Bahadur Khadka has won with 4,009 votes. His rival Dhanraj Pandit of the Nepali Congress lost with 3,552 votes.
Similarly, UML's Nanda Kumari Thapa got 4,233 votes. His rival Radhika Singh of the Nepali Congress lost with 3,351 votes. UML has won the mayor and deputy mayor along with five wards while Nepali Congress has won two wards.
