Two persons were killed in separate accidents at Ijara and Sisnekhola of Dhading today. The Bolero jeep of Nilkantha Municipality-3 of Dhading has met with an accident.
Prem Bahadur Gurung, 32, of Nilkantha Municipality-1 Jurethum died in a jeep accident on the way to Jurethum from Dhadingwesi, said Jageshwar Bhandari, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office. 17 people have been injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Dhading Hospital, said Dr. Madhukar Dahal. It is said that the jeep crashed due to carrying more passengers and luggage than the capacity on the uphill road.
Similarly, a person died in a truck accident at Dhuniveshi Municipality-9 Sisnekhola Tunnel Road of Tribhuvan Highway in Dhading. A youth was killed when a truck heading towards Kathmandu from Naubise collided with a mini truck and a motorcycle heading in the same direction, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Yama Bahadur Magar, 44, of Nilkantha Municipality-12, Dhading. Ganesh Shrestha of Nilkantha Municipality-8, who was injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
