According to District Police Office Mugu, three people died and eight people went missing in Chhayannath Rara municipality of Mugu on Sunday afternoon due to incessant rain. Identities of the deceased and the missing could not be revealed.
Similarly, 10 houses in Ward No. 8 have been destroyed due to landslides. The entire village is at high risk of landslides. In Chhaynath Rara Municipality Ward No. 7 Topla village.
A house collapsed due to a landslide and property worth lakhs along with 25 sheep was destroyed. Also, most of the residents of Topla, Sigadi and Ghuir villages have been displaced due to the high risk of landslides.
