The title of 'Cycle Plank Balance' to Thapa

Sushant Thapa has won the title of the 'Cycle Plank Balance' competition held in Kapilvastu. In the competition held on Saturday, he won the competition title by crossing a distance of 44 meters in 12.37 seconds.

The game was organized by the Lions Club of Kapilvastu. Club president Ram Subhage Tharu said that Thapa, who came first in the match among 150 competitors, received a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Eight people crossed the distance in the first stage of the competition. Rijan Banjade of Rupandehi Sainamaina became second in the match. He received Rs 25,000 and hit the target at a distance of 15.07 seconds.

Kapilvastu's Shaurav Sharma was third while Sudeep Ghimire got the consolation position. Sharma got Rs 15,000 and covered the distance in 16.28 seconds. Ghimire was satisfied with the smart watch and reached the target in 16.56 seconds.


In the second stage, in the competition between eight people, six people passed the distance, but two people failed in the middle. President Tharu said that the winner was decided based on the time covered by the distance between the six people. There was a large presence of spectators to watch the competition held in a pond in Rajapani, Wanganga municipality of the district. The audience seemed happy saying that they got to see a game that they had never seen before.


In the competition, the organizers set Rs.1,500 for the registration fee of the participants and provided T-shirts, snacks, water and bicycles, life jackets and helmets for those who do not have bicycles. Sports Coordinator Vishnu Ghimire informed that along with Kapilvastu, Rupandehi also participated in the competition. Arrangements were made for the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force ambulances for the safety of the competition participants.
