The Sahalkot-Rampur road section, which has been blocked for a week, has been reopened. The locals had to suffer when the road leading to Rampur Municipality through Sahalkot in Nisdi Gaonpalika-2 of East Palpa was closed.
The unpaved road has been blocked due to rain. Local Prem Bahadur Bakabal informed that the road was blocked due to a landslide in the Bhalukharak area of Sialkot. The road was opened after the landslide was cleared on the initiative of the Nisdi village municipality. Residents of Sahalkot were hit hard when the road was blocked.
As Rahalpur is the main market of Sahalkot, he had to face problems in purchasing goods, getting services from banks and financial institutions and other work.
