The Province Assembly meeting of Sudurpaschim Province held on Tuesday passed the provincial government's policies and programs for the fiscal year 2080/081 BS with a majority.
After the deliberations on the government's policies and programs, Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari tabled a proposal for decision, which was passed with a majority.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Kamal Bahadur Shah responded to the province assembly members' concerns on the government's policies and programs and said that the government was ready to co-work with all for the cause of development in the province.
Chief Minister Shah said that the budget for the upcoming fiscal year is being formulated by prioritizing agriculture, tourism, education, health care, and energy sectors.
He said that the current government has included some of the best practices and programs of the previous government for the upcoming fiscal year.
