Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and Minister for Energy and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal held a meeting at the former’s office in Singha Durbar today.
They held discussions on the measures to mitigate loss and damage caused by natural disasters across the country.
According to the Speaker’s secretariat, the two discussed possible remedies for reducing loss and damage that occurred in various parts of the country including Manang and Sindhupalchowk districts.
Sindhupalchowk is the district hit hardest by landslides and floods this season.
