The 8th convention of the Society for Parliamentary Affairs Journalists has picked a new working committee under the leadership of Manoj Satyal.
The convention of the Society held on Saturday elected Kiran Dahal (vice-president), Srijana Ghimire (women vice-president), Jayasingh Mahara (general-secretary), Gunjan Raj Giri (secretary), Sabita Sharma (inclusive secretary) and Amul Thapa (treasurer).
Other unanimously elected members in the working committee are Raju Thapa, Pujan Acharya, Kamal Raj Bhatta, Raghunath Bajgain, Binod Katuwal and Sheela Timilsina.
Likewise, Meera Basnet and Anjana Lamichhane emerged victorious as members under inclusive category.
The new working committee has tenure of two years. The Society is a common organization of journalists reporting parliamentary affairs of Nepal. ---
