Police arrested six persons involved in gambling offences from Bidur Municipality-8 in Nuwakot district on Saturday afternoon.
One of the arrested has been identified as Dinesh Khadka (38) of the same municipality in the district while the names of the other five have not been disclosed.
Acting on a tip-off, Nuwakot-based District Police Office (DPO) nabbed them from Durga Adhikari's residence. The police also recovered Rs 129,765 from them.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed DPO, Nuwakot.
