Police have arrested a man who was convicted of foreign employment fraud after two years.
Prakash Sharma, 42, of Amalachaur in Baglung Municipality-12 has been taken under control by the District Police Office, Baglung. He was sentenced by the Foreign Employment Tribunal, Kathmandu, two years ago for foreign employment fraud. Sharma was sentenced to one year and five months in jail and was fined Rs 150,000.
Sharma had been absconding since that day. According to Indra Bahadur Rana, Information Officer of JIPRA, the District Police Office arrested the fugitive defendant from his house and handed him over to the District Court, Baglung today.
