General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Revolutionary), Mohan Baidya, has said Sanskrit education is scientific.
"Many people have confusion that Sanskrit education is ritualistic. This concept is quite misleading," he said, adding that Sanskrit is a blend of both idealism and materialism.
He further said as people lack knowledge on the value of Sanskrit, such a misleading view on it is spreading. Baidya however said Nepali society needs newness and change.
Leader Baidya made such an observation during a programme organized on the centenary function of his mother Janak Baidya Pokhrel in Ghorahi on Friday. He underscored the need for being clear on knowledge and value of Sanskrit.
Sanskrit language has knowledge, astrology, mathematics and science. It is a rich genre indeed, he reminded me.
