Five police personnel rewarded with cash prize

Five police personnel who carried out the Sankhuwasabha murder investigation honestly and in a well-organised manner, and also arrested the perpetrators, were rewarded with cash prize. 

Nepal Police headquarters, Naxal rewarded them with cash prizes amid a function organised on Thursday.

The rewarded police personnel are Arun Kumar BC, DIG of Province 1 Biratnagar Police Office; Bhim Bahadur Dahal, SP of Dharan Crime Research Branch; Laldhoj Subedi, DSP of Sankhuwasabha District Police Office; Maniram Thapa, Inspector of Central Investigation Bureau, and, Babindra Nembang, Inspector of Province 1 Biratnagar Investigation Branch.

The Police Headquarters rewarded the police personnel with the cash prize as per rule 197(a) of Para 15 of Police Regularities, 2071 (with amendment) keeping their records citing that rewarding the police personnel carrying commendable and excellent work in crime investigation would have a positive impact and boost the morale and performance of other personnel. 

The five police personnel deployed from various departments of Nepal Police investigated the murder case that took place in Umling in which six members of a family were brutally killed on September 6. 

Moreover, Province 1 Police Office, Biratnagar; Nepal Police Province Office, Dharan, and Sankhuwasabha District Police Office have also rewarded the personnel under their respective offices for their honest and sincere work for helping them in the investigation.
