The petition filed by Sandeep Lamichhane demanding the annulment of the district court's order to send him to prison for pre-trial detention will not be heard on Thursday.
Sandeep, who is also the former captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, filed an appeal in the Patan High Court against the Kathmandu District Court's order to send him to pre-trial detention. The appeal was scheduled to be heard today in the bench of Judges Subhash Paudel and Kiran Kumar Pokharel at number five, but it has been kept in non-hearing.
