In Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-1, the Diktel District Election Office is in process of road work, going at a fast pace. The work has been started for Rs 56 lakh 64 thousand allocated by the municipality, with a 15 percent labor donation from the consumer committee.

Prakash Thapa, Chairman of the Construction Consumer Committee, said that 60 percent of the road work, which was agreed to be completed by the 30th of January next year, has been completed. It is said that with the same amount, soling should also be done in the damaged areas on the road from Alchedhunga to the hospital.

Similarly, it is mentioned in the agreement that with the same amount, a track will be opened on the road from the front of the Public Service Office through the office of the Janata Samajwadi Party to the front of the Nepali Congress party office, and the road will be extended to the helipad.

Navraj Rai, Ward President of Ward No. 1, said that during the monitoring of the sloping road, the quality is good. According to the consumer committee, the road, which is sloping rapidly, will be completed before the scheduled time.

As the road in the middle of the Diktel market is sloping, the road is closed to vehicular traffic. After the main road was closed, the road in front of the Public Service was being used to go to government offices including the district administration office, and municipal office.

As the road in front of the public service office was rough and muddy, there were many accidents involving motorbikes, tempos, and other vehicles. After the slope of the road, it is expected that the movement of vehicles will be easier.
