Yeti Airlines has informed that the airline's 9N-ANC, ATR-72 500, which flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara this morning at 10:32, crashed while landing at Pokhara International Airport. The aircraft was carrying 4 crew members and 68 passengers, out of which 37 were men, 25 women, 3 children, and 3 infants. Among them are 53 Nepalese, 5 Indians, 4 Russians, 2 Koreans, 1 Argentine, 1 Australian, 1 Irish, and 1 French.
The plane was last in contact with the tower of Pokhara International Airport at 10:50 a.m. at a place called Seti Khonch. Yeti Airlines said that the detailed details are yet to come and rescue operations are being carried out at the accident site with Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Airport Rescue, and Fire Fighting and Nepal Police teams.
Kamal KC, Anju Khatiwada, Srijana Hongchun, and Osin Ale Magar were among the crew members on the plane, according to Yeti Airlines.
