The Nepalgunj city has been waterlogged due to incessant rainfall since Sunday morning. It has affected the candidacy filing for the election to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.
As a result, the political parties and their candidates reached election office in the late hours.
Most of the areas in the city are waterlogged. New Road, MP School Road, Phultekra, Setu BK Chowk, Dhambojhi Belaspur, Koriyanpur, Kardalo, and Ranitalau, among others are inundated creating sheer inconvenience for the movement.
The police further said Narainapur, Khajura, Kohalpur, Janaki, Baijanath areas are also inundated.
