The Province 2 government has decided not to levy fines on vehicles till mid-July.
The decision was finalised by the provincial Council of Ministers as people were unable to pay such fees due to the prohibitory order imposed to stop the spread of the coronavirus infections in the district.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Social Development of Province 2, Ramsaroj Yadav, said that vehicles were not in operation and the transportation office was also closed during the prohibitory order. Hence, the government has decided not to levy any fines.
