Province 2 has announced a budget of more than Rs 33.79 billion for next fiscal year 2078/79.
The government has allocated over Rs 15.63 billion for recurrent expenditure. Similarly, a budget of more than Rs 18.05 billion has been separated for capital expenditure.
The provincial government plans to collect revenues through different sources. It has a target to raise over Rs 3.04 billion through internal taxes. Similarly, it will receive more than Rs 13.90 billion from the various funds of the federal government.
The government will also receive more than Rs 9.58 billion through the revenue distribution mechanism.
