Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is taking the vote of confidence from the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.
He is supported by CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), National Independent Party, National Democratic Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, Janmaat Party, Civil Liberties Party, and independent three MPs.There is a provision that a vote of confidence must be taken from the House of Representatives within 30 days of being appointed as the Prime Minister.
According to the same provision, Prime Minister Dahal will take a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday. To win the confidence of the 275-member House of Representatives, the Prime Minister needs the support of 138 MPs.
