President Vidya Devi Bhandari has issued two ordinances. President Bhandari has issued the Medicine (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2079 BS and the Ordinance on the Protection of Health Workers and Health Institutions (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2079 BS.
Spokesperson of the President's Office Sagar Acharya in a press release issued today states that the two ordinances were issued on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal and the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
