A young man died when a truck hit a motorcycle in Makwanpur.
The accident took place when a truck loaded with cement going from Hetauda to Phaparbari hit a motorcycle going in the same direction at Baiya-5 three-story under the Dharanchatra road section.
Police said that 30-year-old Vikram Bhamjan of Hetaunda-18 Furkechaur, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Karki informed that the 35-year-old Hiramaya Lopchan riding the motorcycle and an unnamed man aged 20-25 riding the truck were seriously injured.
Karki said that the truck driver Surya Bahadur Ghimire of Nijgarh-9 was also injured and all the injured were being treated at Hetauda Hospital.
