One person has died after being swept away by the Bamtang River in Tanahu's Shuklagandaki Municipality-10. The deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur BK, 50, of Kukhurekhola in Shuklagandaki-10, according to the Area Police Office, Belchautara.
The body of BK, who went missing after being swept away by a flood in Bamtang River on Friday night, was found this morning, said Police Inspector Bhoj Raj Pandey. He said that BK's body was found lying on the ground 700 meters below the place where it was washed away.
