A motorcyclist has died in a collision with an ambulance in Barju Rural Municipality of Sunsari. One person riding in the back of the motorcycle was seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Umesh Kumar Chaudhary. 23-year-old Pramod Sardar, who was riding behind the injured motorcycle, is being treated at a neuro hospital in Biratnagar. The motorcycle was hit by an ambulance yesterday at 8:30 pm.
Similarly, a pedestrian died after being hit by a car in the evening in Damak Municipality Tea Garden of Jhapa. The deceased is a 40-year-old man. He was seriously injured in a car collision and died in Damak Hospital during treatment. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. He was hit by a car yesterday evening while walking.
