A person has died in a jeep accident at Kathekhola Gaonpalika-1 of Baglung district. Three others in the jeep have also been injured in the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Shyam Sharma, 45, of Baglung Municipality-7. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Iqbal Hawari, the injured have been identified as Tak Bahadur Bohora, 46, Dinesh Giri, 44, and Ajay Shivakoti, 25, of Ramrekha in Baglung Municipality-1.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Dhawalagiri Hospital. There were seven passengers in the jeep. The driver and one passenger have escaped the scene of the accident. Police said that they were searching for him.
