Nine middlemen have been arrested from the Department of Transport Management Gurjudhara today. According to the Metropolitan Police Complex, they have been arrested for harassing the people who went to the Department of Transport Management, Gurjudhara, Chandragiri Municipality-5 to pay the revenue of license, blue book, and other documents.
They have been arrested after Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali forcibly harassed them under the pretext of speeding up the search for a higher fee than the revenue.
Upon receiving the information, a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Division, Balambu, took control of the nine suspects and sent them from Circle Thankot for further investigation, the premises said in a statement issued today.
