Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat has informed that he will give first priority to strengthen the economy. He said, "The government is busy preparing the new budget, the main goal of the budget will be to strengthen the economy."
In today's meeting with the officials of the editors' association, Finance Minister Dr. Mahat informed that the minimum common program of the government will be agreed upon between the ruling coalition parties.
The officials of the society met Finance Minister Dr. Mahat and congratulated him and wished him a successful tenure.
