Due to the incessant rains for the past few days, the flow of water in the Rapti river has increased and various damages have been caused in the places of Dang. Houses of Dhanpurwa, Dugurwa, and Bagrahwa located in Lamhi municipality Satwaria of the district as well as Sisahnia and Arnhawa villages of Rapti rural municipality have been flooded. Out of about 200 flooded houses, the residents in 35 high-risk houses have been rescued by the Nepali Army team and taken to a safe place.
