People's Liberation Army of China has provided Vero cell vaccine and various medical supplies to the Nepal Army. Chinese Ambassador in Nepal, Hou Yanchi handed over the vaccines to Chief of Army Staff Maharthi Prabhuram Sharma at a function held at Jangi Adda on Monday.
According to the Nepal Army, the handed over items include 10 units of ventilator and 100 units of oxygen concentrator. Chief of Army Staff Maharthi Sharma thanked China and the Chinese People's Liberation Army for their support.
He said this kind of assistance will enable the Nepal Army to be more effective in the fight against the virus and strengthen the relationship between the two countries' armies.
