NA Chairman Timilsina meets CPPCC Chairman Huning

Chairman of National Assembly (NA) Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, who is in his China visit now, met with Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Chairman Wang Huning on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at the Great Hall of the People's in Beijing.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the matters of mutual interests and expressed their commitment to further strengthening the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

On the occasion, NA Chairman Timilsina reaffirmed Nepal's commitment to one-China policy adding that Nepal will remain committed to this in the future as well.

He added that Nepal would not allow its land to be misused for any kind of anti-China activities.

During the meeting, both sides appreciated the ever-growing bilateral relations based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, mutual trust and mutual understanding.

Likewise, CPPCC Chairman Huning said that exchanges and visits at the political level would be continued for further deepen our ties.

A nine-member parliamentary delegation led by NA Chairman is in China visit at the invitation of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China Zhao Leji.

The parliamentary delegation of Nepal included lawmakers Jiban Pariyar, Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana, Dipa Gurung Hari Ram Chaudhari, Pradeep Yadav, Udaya Bahadur Bohara and senior officials from the Parliamentary Secretariat and the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing.
