A youth died and another one sustained injuries after the motorcycle they were riding on ran out of control in Byas Municipality-2 of Tanahun district on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bibek Thapa Magar,22, a resident of Malebagar in Byas-2,. Police identified the injured as pillion rider Rajani Gurung,20.
The accident occurred as the motorcycle heading to Ghansikuwa from Damauli lost control and fell on the road injuring the motorcycle riders, near the Buldi bridge along the Prithivi Highway, according to Deputy Superintendent of Polie (DSP) at Tanahun District Police Office, Yubaraj Timilsena.
Police informed that Thapa Magar died during the course of treatment at the Damauli hospital. Gurung is said to be receiving treatment.
