House of Representatives meeting has passed a motion of thanks for the speech delivered by President Bidya Devi Bhandari. The proposal presented by Speaker Devraj Ghimire in today's meeting of the House of Representatives was unanimously passed by the meeting.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' tabled a copy of the address given by the President to the joint meeting of both houses of the first session of the Federal Parliament.
In the meeting, Speaker Ghimire read out the details of the letter received from the office of the President regarding the increase in workload. The meeting extended the
period of the House of Representatives Rules Drafting Committee by seven days. Chitra Bahadur KC, the senior member of the committee, demanded more time for the committee.
