More women voters in Palpa

In the local level election on May 13, there are more women voters than men in Palpa. According to the Election Office, Palpa, there are 6,330 more women voters than men in the district.

There are one lakh three thousand 10 female voters and 96 thousand 680 male voters. It has been found that the number of women voters is increasing in all the 10 municipalities of the district except Tinau municipality. There are seven thousand 245 male and seven thousand 141 female voters in Tinau while there are more female voters in other municipalities. There are 1,713 women voters in Tansen, 1,543 in Rampur, 829 in Baganaskali, 687 in Rambha, 640 in Purbakhola, 387 in Mathagadhi, 373 in Ribdikot, 167 in Rainadevi Chhahra, 104 in Tinau and 93 in Nisdi.

Tansen municipality has the highest number of voters and Purbakhola village has the lowest number of voters. According to the list published by the Election Office, there are 33,769 voters in Tansen and 13,698 voters in Purbakhola. The lowest number of voters is 181 at the Patan Basic School polling station in Tinau Gaonpalika-6.

There are 118 polling stations and 247 polling booths in the district. Of the ten municipalities, the polling station and the center are mostly in the district headquarters Tansen. There are 22 polling stations and 44 centers, while the lowest number of polling stations and 17 centers is in Purbakhola village municipality. Chief District Officer of Palpa, Jagannath Pant, said that the district security body has also prepared an internal strategic plan to ensure that all voters can participate in the election in a fearless environment.
