Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation Shashi Shrestha has asked the people's representatives at the local level and officials there to work honestly for the cause of the people.
Distributing the land ownership registration certificate to the locals at Panga in Kirtipur Municipality-5 on Tuesday, Minister Shrestha suggested that the local level's representatives should lead the job to ensure relief to the needy ones and those deprived of the state's services.
On the occasion, she said mere talks and decisions per se won't address the people's problems.
Shrestha further asked the local level representatives to advance development projects and service delivery to make people feel changes.
Federal MP Rajendra KC, Province Assembly Member Pukar Maharjan, Ministry's Secretary Ram Prasad Thapaliya, Mayor of Kritipur Municipality Ramesh Maharjan, and others also spoke at the event.
On the occasion, 32 households were provided with the land ownership certificate.
