Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal who is on an official visit to China, today held a bilateral meeting with the Chinese delegation led by Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Sichuan Province and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, in Chendu.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal, recalling the high-level meeting with President Xi and Prime Minister Lee and the statement issued by the two countries, expressed his belief that the visit to Chongqing, Tibet, and Sichuan and the meeting with the party leaders will become a new milestone in the implementation of the agreement and the development of new and high-level relations between the two countries.
Party Secretary of Sichuan Province Wang expressed his belief that Dahal is a good friend of China and under your leadership, Nepal-China relations will develop on a new basis. Wang also said that they are committed to implementing the agreement between Nepal and China.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Nepal tomorrow from Chhendu.
